The Mediterranean Cookery Evening Course
This cookery course covers up to 6 different countries to help mix skills and techniques with a little bit of summer sun just as the Europeans do, to create a set of authentic dishes from this delicious cuisine reminiscent of your overseas travels.
You will use the finest ingredients and learn the difference between each Country and its specilialities. Some of the dishes you will learn to prepare may include:
- Provence: Pissaladierre (Provencal onion, anchovy and olives on bread base)
- Italy: Saltimbocca di pollo (flattened chicken breast cooked in marsala with Parma ham and sage)
- Morocco: Lamb tagine with apricot and almond cous cous and carmelised onions
- Spain: Chorizo, spicy white bean and tomatoes with roasted white fish
- Greece: Spanakotiropita (spinach and cheese pie)
- Turkey: Ravani (orange-scented semolina cake and spiced syrup)
The evening begins at 6:30pm where you will be welcomed with tea/coffee or a glass of wine. You will then learn to prepare and then cook a selection of dishes which will be enjoyed during the evening with wine, with the course finishing at approximately 9:30pm.
All ingredients, tuition, refreshements and a gourmet dinner with wine included in the course price.
