The Indian Cookery Day Course
On our Indian Cookery Day course, follow our chefs as they demonstrate a number of curries and side dishes that you can easily reproduce at home for friends and family. Learn about the key regional ingredients and tastes, and spend the day cooking authentic Indian Cuisine using authentic Asian ingredients sourced from local stores and markets.
Dishes prepared range from various regional curries, rice dishes, chutneys and naan. Our chefs are more than happy to answer queries and discuss their Indian travels and the development of Indian cuisine as a British favourite. Learn how to freshly make your own Indian curries - and beat the flavour of even the best takeaway.
All cookery is done using domestic equipment so that all dishes and techniques can easily be replicated at home.
After preparing and cooking the dishes, the class then sits down together to enjoy the food they have prepared.
The Day Course will cover up to five different dishes and have you making each dish from scratch. You will start the day with tea/coffee and cake before you begin your time in the kitchens. A late morning snack will be served and then, upon completion of your day, you will dine on a three course gourmet lunch with wine.
The course includes all ingredients, recipes, hands-on tuition, a gourmet lunch with wine and plenty of leftovers to take home to family and friends.
