Gourmet Spanish and Tapas Day Course
Our Gourmet Spanish and Tapas cookery day explores the flavours of Spain and how to produce traditional fantastic tapas dishes. Celebrate the fresh flavours of traditional and simple Spanish cooking. We will spend the day teaching you many simple dishes using easy-to-follow recipes and simple techniques to create a beautiful spread of food including traditional paella to share with family and friends.
Recipes for the day will include five tapas dishes such as:-
- Roast pepper and feta tortillas
- Crispy squid with cpaers and garlic mayonnaise
- Cerviche
- Empandadas
- Potatas bravas
- Chorizo and bean cassoulet
- Tortilla Espanola
- Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp)
All to be finished off with a traditional paella using fresh seasonl produce.
You will begin the day with coffee / tea and biscuits. You will then be invited in to our kitchens to create a Spanish feast. The day will focus on professional knife skills and the use of simple flavours to create delicious sociable dishes. You will be seated to a gourmet tapas feast including paella complete with wine.
The course price includes professional instruction, all ingredients, recipes, refreshments and a gourmet three course lunch with wine. And there will be plenty to take home to share with family and friends!
