Bookings

All course bookings are subject to the Terms & Conditions detailed below. A booking confirmation will be emailed to you to confirm your course booking details.

A course booking is deemed reserved until full payment has been received.  We will reserve a place on one of our courses for 10 working days. Upon receipt of the full payment of the course fee your place will be guarenteed and subject to our cancellation and change conditions detailed below. All course bookings however made will be subject to the Terms & Conditions as detailed.

For Corporate and Private Party Bookings we will secure your date on reciept of a £200 deposit. This deposit is non refundable and non transferable. The balance of your event is payable in full a week before your event is due to take place. 

Offers & Discounts

We reserve the right to withdraw offers and discounts at any time.  

We do not back date any offers to existing bookings.

Changes to Course Bookings

If you wish to change your booking to a different course date, we are happy to do this if it is more than 4 weeks prior to your course date.  After this time any changes are at the discretion of the Cookery School Manager.  We are unable to accept any changes within a week of the course date.

For Corporate and Private bookings we will do our best to accomodate any changes but this may not always be possible.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are valid for ten months and must be redeemed on a course within this time. Gift vouchers are non-refundable. We will send out your Gift Voucher by email and ask that any outstanding balances are settled within a week fo your purchase. If we do not receive payment by this time we will cancel the Gift Voucher.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel your course booking more than four weeks prior to your course date, you must do so in writing by either e-mail or post. A standard cancellation fee of £30.00 per person per course will apply and we will refund the balance of your course payment. The cancellation fee is to cover our administration of your booking and the refund of your balance. Please note we do not refund Gift Vouchers.

If you cancel within a four week period prior to the start of your course, you will be responsible for the full payment of the course fee. If you are unable to make it on the day of your course you will not be eligable for a refund and we will not be able to book you onto another course. 

For Corporate or Private Party bookings if you cancel within a four week period prior to the start of your event you will be responsible for the full payment of the event fee.

We would recommend you take out cancellation insurance if you are concerned about needing to cancel for any reason.

We reserve the right to make any changes to our course/event materials and course/event dates, where necessary, at our discretion. We will notify you as soon as possible of any changes to your booking.

Terminations

Should an invalid discount code be used against a course then we reserve the right to cancel the booking with immediate effect.  We will refund the payment less and £20 adminstration fee. We will give you the opportunity to pay the balance prior to cancelling a booking or voucher.

We reserve the right to terminate the training of any student without reimbursement of fees if the student is found to be disruptive to other students and/or the instructors or is found to behave unlawfully in any way prior to or during the course.

If you are unwell and attend your course we reserve the right to terminate your place if we feel that that you pose a Health & Safety risk.

If you or we are forced to terminate your attendance during the course or event, your course fees will not be refunded to you.

Health & Safety

Excessive drinking and the use of illegal drugs are not permitted.

We expect you to report and pay for any careless damages and breakages to Inspired Gourmet equipment where appropriate.

During the course, we advise you to wear lightweight clothing and ensure that long hair is tied back. We advise you to wear non-slip shoes and to ensure your toes are covered.

Please advise us at the time of booking of any dietary requirements, food allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy, learning difficulties or anything else that you think we many need to know about before your course.

Personal Property

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to your personal property. Neither do we accept liability for personal injury except as imposed by statute.
