Inspired Gourmet gives approachable and informative cookery lessons in modern, open-plan kitchens – everyone can relax, learn valuable new skills, and enjoy their time together in advance of the big day! Our Head Chefs are very friendly and extremely experienced in getting everyone involved at the right level while keeping the atmosphere fun and friendly.
Canape and Cocktail Evening
Join our chefs and learn the art of creating beautiful cocktails and delicious canapés. Two hours of bartending and canapé-making cookery lessons followed by a two course lunch or dinner with wine.

Designer Cupcake and Fizz Party
Join the bride and friends for a fabulous day of designer cupcake creation and a few glasses of fizz. Learn the wonderful art of both cooking and decorating the most exquisite Cupcakes. Cupcakes are simple and easy creations however with some creative flair and a few basic skills you can turn bare buns into luxurious works of art. Each hen will take away 12 beautiful cupcakes in a gorgeous presentation box (£24.00 retail value). A three hour event to be held in the afternoon or evening.

Chocolate Hen Parties
Spend the day with our experienced chefs making chocolate creation. Learn to make a range of truffles, prepare tempered chocolate, and create chocolate shapes and lollies. Finish the day making a chocolate fondant – everyone’s favourite. Three hours of chocolate making followed by a two course lunch or dinner with wine.

Gourmet Cookery Party – Lunch or Dinner
Spend three hours learning to cook a gourmet three-course menu from our wide range of menus. Coffee, tea and orange juice upon arrival followed by 3 hours of Hands-On Cookery to create three different gourmet dishes of your choosing. After your cookery lesson, you will be seated in our dining area to enjoy your culinary creations complete with our complimentary house wine.
£50.00 per person / £60.00 per person to include sparkling wine and canapés upon arrival
Private Cookery Day
You will arrive at the cookery school at 10am and be served tea, coffee and freshly baked cake. You will then spend the day in our kitchens with our chefs, learning to prepare a number of new and challenging dishes or perhaps learn a few techniques that are of interest to you. Menus and themes will be developed depending on your interests and preference. We can help you learn to prepare dishes using particular ingredients (locally sourced meat, fish and produce) or along a particular culinary style or region (e.g. gourmet French, Italian or Thai).
