I learned so much about food, cooking, cooking techniques, flavours, and all thoroughly enjoyable. John also has an infectious love about food and cooking, and his depth, breath and passion as a top chef, means any utensil, or ingredient or receipt becomes fascinating!
The selection of recipes and activities meant the day flew past, yet never too much nor overwhelming, and I loved the wine and meals as we went.
It was very relaxed, and great to make “mistakes” as we went along, and great John had the time ever watchful eye to check and comment as a group and individually. All the food I took home was adored!
And the tortillas are an amazing success. Everywhere I now go meeting friends for dinner, I am now teaching how to make them too! Just like learning to ride a bicycle, you cannot “read” how to do it, you need to muddle in and be shown as you go.”
